Privacy policy

• Sellers: name, email, phone, store details, product information, payout mobile money number and account name.
• Shoppers: name, phone number, delivery address and order history. An email only if you create a shopper account.
• Usage: store and product page views, the source of a visit, and basic device information.

To create and run your store, process orders and payouts, show sellers their own sales analytics, prevent fraud and abuse, and contact you about your orders or account.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send marketing messages to buyers on behalf of sellers without consent.

When you place an order, the seller sees your name, phone number, delivery address and what you ordered so they can fulfil it. Sellers only see their own orders and customers. Our administrators can access account records where needed to run the platform or investigate abuse.

We use third parties to host the platform, store images, process mobile money payments, and send notifications. They only receive what they need to provide their service.

Order and payout records are kept for at least six years for tax and accounting purposes. Other account data is deleted or anonymised within 90 days of you closing your account.

Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we're not required to keep it, and object to certain processing. Write to privacy@selit.app and we'll respond within 30 days.

We use essential cookies to maintain signed-in sessions, protect forms, support checkout, and remember basket state. We may use limited first-party measurement to understand which pages and features are useful. We do not run third-party advertising trackers or sell browsing profiles.
